Important change to Serial Container Mark (SCM) labels
Target is implementing a change to the mandatory fields on our SCM labels effective from Monday 9th August 2010.
Our updated ANSI 3020 850 PO and EANcom D96A ORDERS Message Implementation Guides (MIGs) include the new additions to our Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Purchase Orders highlighted for your convenience.
Target will send additional information in your Purchase Order IF this information needs to be printed onto the SCM label.
New Label Examples:

This change will provide stores with improved visibility of event stock and allow more efficient processing throughout the Supply Chain.
We have provided this information to your value added networks (VAN) and EDI solution providers. If your solution provider or VAN has not contacted you prior to the end of July, please contact them to ensure your system is ready for this change.
If you have a custom built solution or require further information – please refer to our Target Supplier Web Site for updated technical documents - http://supplier.target.com.au
.
If you have any questions or concerns about this change – please direct your queries via e-mail to Target.eCommerce@target.com.au
